Short and Sweet Headlines are Best!

The 2024 Throw1Deep Summer Throws Camp will provide top-quality throwing instruction for all athletes, male and female, ages 12-19. Athletes will be able to learn Shot Put, Discus, Hammer Throw, and Javelin.

This camp is open to all levels of experience, and features adaptive coaching to aid campers based on individual skill level. True beginners can learn the events from scratch, while advanced athletes can take their skills to the next level.

The goal of the Throws Camp is to give each camper an enjoyable experience by mixing fun with technical development. Fundamentals, instructional drills, and special exercises enhance proper technical development tailored for different age and ability levels. Each camper will receive specific, quality instruction on how to improve his/her throwing.

Campers will be placed into groups of similar ability. Competitions will take place during some sessions.
